UNICEF celebrity advocate for children Anne Curtis was a special guest at the Heroes for Children Run 2016 held on September 4, 2016 at the SM Mall of Asia grounds, Pasay City.

Appco Group Philippines self-employed independent contractors and support staff were amongst the 7,000 runners who participated to support UNICEF’s First 1,000 days’ program.
The UNICEF’s First 1,000 Days program helps the disadvantaged children access their right to good health and proper nutrition in their earliest stages of life.

“I am a hero for every child. The children are my inspiration to keep going while on the 21k run”, says Cleo Insuya, Client Account Executive, Appco Group Philippines
“It was actually my first ever 21k run. It was very challenging and I never thought I could finish it. But because of the encouraging environment and the advocacy behind the campaign, I pushed myself to get through it to show that anyone, as long as you put your effort and heart into it, could be a hero for children”, says Efren Barrion, Assistant Owner, More Marketing Solutions

Appco Group Philippines is face-to-face fundraising partner of UNICEF Philippines 2008.
